ASCE Wasatch Front Branch will be touring the Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility on September 19th, 2025. Central Valley Water Reclamation Facility (CVWRF) is a state-of-the-art facility that treats wastewater using a trickling filter/solids contact process for secondary treatment. Every day, millions of gallons of wastewater are collected and piped into the facility from around Salt Lake County. This tour will last approximately 1.5 hours and a lunch will be provided. Closed toe shoes are required. Please bring personal PPE, however, if needed additional PPE (hi-vis vest and hard hat) will be provided.
