The purpose of SLCC Dance Company is to promote excellence in the art of dance. The Company offers experience and opportunity in performance, choreography, production, and other extra-curricular activities for the enjoyment and creative expression of the members, and for the enrichment and entertainment of the College and broader community.

Membership in the Dance Company offers opportunities for students to choreograph and perform in semi-professional caliber dance concerts.
Membership in the Dance Company offers regular rehearsals for students to develop skills in the areas of technique, choreography, performance, and
production.
Membership in the Dance Company offers students opportunities to facilitate workshops for grade school students in the community interested in dancing.
