SLCCServes Fall Day of Service

Join SLCC & The Thayne Center for SLCCServes Fall Day of Service. This event will take place on Friday, November 7th. It is an opportunity for SLCC students, staff, and faculty to be of service to community partners in the Salt Lake area. Service events will take place both on campus and off campus. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided. 

This event is in collaboration with the First Generation Celebration! Participants will be able to attend this event afterwards to celebrate our first generation students and receive lunch. 

The Thayne Center is proud to partner with the following organizations for our Day of Service. These community partners are doing incredible work to empower our community. Attending Day of Service is a great way to learn, engage, and be involved. Participants will be randomly assigned a site for the morning. Please register for this event on Campus Groups. After registering, you will be redirected to the Student Travel Waiver. Please fill this form out as well.

Breakfast will start to be served at 7:45 AM in the Student Event Center. Breakfast and orientation will begin at 8:00 AM. Volunteers will leave for service sites at 8:30 AM. The buses will not be waiting, so please arrive on time. All participants will return to campus campus by 12:00 PM for lunch and the First Generation Celebration. The First Generation Celebration will wrap up at 2:00 PM.
