Moonlight is a coming-of-age film that follows a young man through three pivotal stages of his life as he navigates identity, relationships, and personal growth within his community. Told in three chapters, the film explores themes of belonging, masculinity, family influence, and self-discovery through a character-driven narrative.

As part of the REPRESENT Film Series, this screening invites viewers to engage with storytelling that reflects lived experiences and diverse perspectives. The film provides an opportunity for reflection on how environment, relationships, and personal experiences shape identity over time.

This event is open to all students. A limited number of complimentary books will be available for attendees to encourage continued learning and discussion beyond the screening.

The first 20 students will receive a copy of the screen play for this academy award winning film that allows students and stakeholders to dig deeper into the messages that the film delivers.
