Spring Day of Service will take place on Tuesday, April 22nd. This event is an opportunity for students, staff, and faculty to be of service to community partners in the Salt Lake area. Service projects will take place both on and off campus. Transportation, breakfast, and lunch will be provided.
Event Schedule:
- 8:00 AM – Breakfast & Orientation
- Morning Service Projects – Participants will head to their service sites (varied end times).
- Afternoon Service Opportunity – For those unavailable in the morning, an additional service project will take place in the afternoon and be on-campus.
Community Partners:
This year, participants will work with six incredible organizations making a difference in our community:
- SLCC Redwood Campus Bruin Pantry
- SLCC Redwood Campus Garden
- Junior Achievement
- Tracy Aviary
- International Rescue Committee
- The Children's Center
After registering, you will be directed to a survey form. Please complete the form and rank your top three preferred service sites to help ensure you are placed at a location of your preference.
