Join us as we invite Historian, Robert Burch to provide students with an opportunity to learn about the establishment and early development of the state of Utah. This educational program explores the discovery of the region, the arrival of early settlers, and the foundational events that shaped Utah’s growth. The program highlights the contributions of early communities in building social structures, industries, and cultural traditions, while also examining what Utah is known for worldwide today, including its natural landscapes, innovation, and cultural influence. The event is designed to support learning, encourage curiosity, and provide students with a clearer understanding of Utah’s historical foundations and lasting impact. ADA Accommodations: If you have an accommodation request, please contact the Accessibility & Disability Services at 801-957-4659 or email at ADS@slcc.edu.
