Student Forum with new SLCC President Greg Peterson

This form collects pre-submitted questions for the Student Forum with SLCC President Greg Peterson planned for Monday, March 2 in the Student Event Center at Taylorsville Redwood Campus, 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm. Lunch provided.

Potential changes to program format: In Spring 2026, the forum format may be changing to highlight "topics" or "issues" rather than specific questions. This is based on consultation with SLCC Student Association about program goals.

Pre-submitted questions help ensure a robust and accurate answer during the forum. Pre-submitted questions may be merged with similar questions. Pre-submission will continue through Monday, February 16. Students will be notified about program content via email from Senior Director of the Thayne Center, Timothy Davis (Timothy.Davis@slcc.edu).

Questions submitted by staff and faculty will not be considered for the Student Forum. Student status is verified during question selection.

Save the date: the Fall 2026 Student Forum presentation will be scheduled in late summer (approx. August) for an event in late-September or early-October.
