Requirements

Built on a cohort model, SLCC's Honors program is a personalized, engaging, and transformative experience open to all SLCC degree-seeking students. Students in the Honors Program will sharpen their academic and scholarly skills through several rigorous Honors Courses that fulfill 9 credits of General Education: 3 in Social Sciences (SS), 3 in Humanities (HU), and 3 in the second half of Composition (EN). As well as Enrichment Experiences and the fulfillment of 3 High-Impact Practices.

Courses

Students can earn nine credits of their General Education requirements by successfully passing Honors-designated courses in Humanities, English, and Social Sciences.

To sum it all up, get 2 enrichment experiences per semester, complete the 3 Honors courses, complete 3 High-Impact Practices, and end the year with a 3.3 GPA to graduate in Honors. You got this.
