The main part of this clubs purpose is to get people together to take a look at the Bible. We will be doing Bible manuscripting, where we take a part of a passage and just look at the text itself, no titles, no headings, no verse numbers. We do this because this was how the Bible was originally written in both the Old Testament Hebrew and the New Testament Greek. We will be doing the OIA method of Bible study. In this method will first Observe, by collecting observations and questions. Second, we will Interpret, and discuss what questions we had as a group and then discuss our different interpretations/answers to those questions. Lastly we will then do Application and look at how we can apply God's Word to our lives today. We hope that this method of Bible study will make it so people can better understand the Bible and use what it says in daily life. We typically meet outside on the patio to the west of the Student Center. We will have an InterVarsity sign next to where we are sitting, with Bibles and snacks on the table. Hope to see you there!
