Welcome to the Queer Employee Association at SLCC! This organization welcomes students, staff, faculty, and administrators who identify as, and are allied with, our Queer college community. We want you to know your voice matters. You deserve to be heard and seen in the safe, supportive environment co-created by every member of this Association. We are diverse in our backgrounds, identities, beliefs, and perspectives; and in our diversity lies our strength. We are open to respectful interchange, honest conversations, and communal camaraderie. Attached is our bylaws and membership document to help orient you to who we are, how we organize and lead our endeavors, and how we fit within the structure of Salt Lake Community College. Though this is a formal document, it's also a living document that we can adjust and adapt together as we see fit. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions or concerns you may have. As we collaborate to co-create social justice, equity, and inclusivity for all oppressed groups and our LGBTQ+ family, we're in this together. We're all just walking each other home.
