About Us
The mission of our Emergency Medical Services Club at Salt Lake Community College is to encourage diversity, enhance coping mechanisms, cultivate skills, and reinforce our bond to our community, through community engagement activities. Students will engage in a memoiristic analysis by the use of books, focused on breaking down true emergency medical historical testimonies in relation to gender, race, socioeconomic status, bias, marginalization and coping mechanisms. Our club members will also have the opportunity to practice patient assessment lists on an anatomical model and distribute clothing with the help of store partnerships to further strengthen our bond to our public.
